Enable Cell Phone Access

You can view your webcam's video and control its motion from a web-enabled cell phone. To enable the feature, complete the following steps.

Before starting, find out what kind of browser technology your cell phone uses: WAP or i-mode.

  1. On the Tool Panel, click the Get Online button, which looks like this:

  2. The Get Online dialog is displayed. In the IP Number drop-down list, select one of the IP numbers. It will be used as the Internet address of your webcam and TrackerPod.

Notes:

  • The IP number beginning 127 is not accessible remotely and should be used only for testing.

  • If your computer is part of a LAN, you should select the IP number labelled Proxy/Router.
